Summary of Position

Responsible for the coordination, implementation and completion of one or more projects to meet defined requirements or business specifications.  Will be expected to spread time between large-scale, high impact projects and day-to-day production needs.  Communicate with project manager and project teams throughout the life of the project. Support and develop relationships with other departments within the enterprise.

 Essential Duties & Job Responsibilities

  • Document and maintain project requirements and specifications.
  • Monitor project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Provide support for acceptance testing of projects.
  • Monitor and report on project progress.
  • Present to project manager, progress and change requests, as well as problems and solutions.
  • Enter and track tickets, patches and builds.
  • Create and disburse reports related to the project.
  • Support and direct project analysts.
  • Routinely evaluate and monitor system performance and quality.
  • Keep current in new technologies.
  • Act as a liaison between third-parties, project manager and other departments within the enterprise.
  • Develop a strong relationship with primary contact within other departments within the enterprise.


  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent project experience.
  • Experience within a P&C Insurance Carrier or Wholesale operation working on the development and testing of insurance company systems preferred.
  • Possess good research and writing skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Underwriting or claims experience a plus.

  • Occasionally lift medium to heavy objects.
